In a fresh Toshakhana reference, an accountability court on Monday placed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in jail for a 15-day judicial remand.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court presided over the hearing, which took place in the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
Additionally, the judge has mandated that Imran and his spouse appear in court on September 2. Following the end of their 10-day physical remand, the pair made an appearance today.
On August 8, the court approved the physical remand.
The accused answered the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) questionnaire in writing and turned it in to the court during the case hearing.
