ISLAMABAD Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has written a letter outlining his complaints from Adiala Jail to Yahya Afridi, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP).
“We have come here to deliver the founding PTI leader’s letter to the Chief Justice,” Aleema Khan, the sister of the PTI founder, said when she delivered the letter to the Supreme Court on Thursday. Khan’s other sisters attended the event as well.
Khan lamented in his letter that he and his spouse, former first lady Bushra Bibi, had “the doors of justice closed” to them. He said that he had spent 772 days in solitary confinement and called his 9×11 cell a “cage.”
