Lahore commuters are experiencing severe inconvenience as a result of the suspension of the Orange Line rail and Metro Bus services. Since major roads are still closed because of the current law and order situation, the suspension has left thousands of individuals stuck.
Officials claim that the closure of the City Terminal, Rahbar Terminal, and a number of other bus stations has essentially brought the city’s public transportation system to a complete halt.
The district administration in Islamabad announced that the Metro Bus and CDA-operated bus services have also been discontinued. Office workers’, students’, and travelers’ regular commutes have been interrupted by the closures.
Universities and schools have announced early breaks.
In addition to the transportation closure, early holidays have been granted to all Lahore colleges and universities.
