In an effort to better serve Karachi residents, People’s Bus Service announced on Friday the opening of three new routes in port city Karachi.
The Sind Transport Department announced that route-12 will be extended and begin service from Quaidabad, Korangi, Memongoth to Tawart on July 23. Meanwhile, route-13 will begin service from Hawke’s Bay to Tower on July 22.
Starting on July 24, the Electric Bus EV-4 will travel a new route that connects Bahria Town with Exhibition Chowrangi. On July 25, Route 8 from Yusuf Goth to Tower will begin operation.
According to Sharjeel Memon, the introduction of new routes is a component of the Sindh government’s attempts to improve public transportation in Karachi. The goal of the routes is to offer reasonably priced, practical, and comfortable travel options.
