A tragic runway accident shocks passengers
Two pilots were killed and scores of others injured in a deadly crash at LaGuardia Airport late on Sunday night after a plane crashed into a firetruck.
Air Canada Flight AC8646 had just touched down when the aircraft struck an emergency vehicle parked on the landing strip. One said that it appeared like the aircraft had split in two.

Antoine Forest (30) from Quebec has been named as one of the pilots. The authorities have yet to release the identity of the second plane pilot.
The emergency teams transported 41 people injured to hospital. Hospitalized were two people in the firetruck.

The air traffic control system recorded a last warning for the driver of the truck to stop. However, the accident happened only seconds after.
