KARACHI: Amidst an increase in street crimes, police in the city stated on Friday that thieves in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Chowrangi shot and killed another man who resisted an attempt to rob him during Eid-ul-Fitr.
The dead has been identified as Turab Zaidi, and more investigation is underway, according to law enforcement officials.
Three-time father Turab was also his parents’ only son. He was slain after taking money out of an ATM.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been urged to take note of the situation by the deceased’s father. “He was drenched in blood after taking a bullet to the head. “I ask the prime minister to intervene,” his father stated in an interview with the News.
