Meghan Markle and Prince Harry founded the Archewell Foundation, but it is currently experiencing severe administrative issues.
The California Registry of Charities and Fundraisers has deemed the organization “delinquent” in papers obtained by News due to “failing to submit required annual report(s) and/or renewal fees.”
As stated in the paper, “An organization that has a delinquent listing is not in good standing and is not allowed to engage in any activities that call for registration, such as raising or allocating cash for charitable causes. Additionally, the Registry may impose fines and suspend or cancel the organization’s registration.”
“Once you submit the delinquent record(s), you will be notified of the amount of any late fees that are owed,” it keeps going.
