In Sost, Hunza, the Pakistan Army and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) have established a small hub for freelance work. Situated at the Government Boys High School Sost Gojal, the facility is intended to cater to both students and the wider public in the picturesque northern area.
The vice principal of the school, Javed Iqbal, emphasized the importance of this program for the kids and the larger community. He stressed that the center, which was created in collaboration with the Pakistan Army and Special Communications Organization (SCO), will give residents access to opportunities and useful digital skills.
This project is a component of a larger initiative funded by the SIFC to improve digital literacy and open up business prospects in Pakistan’s remote regions.
