The creation of human milk banks in Pakistan has received conditional approval from the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), which emphasizes that such organizations should only operate under stringent laws to guard against abuse and guarantee adherence to Islamic teachings.
Under some circumstances, human milk storage facilities could be constructed, according to the CII meeting, which was presided over by Chairman Raghib Naeemi.
To prevent any corruption and abuse, it emphasized that mandatory legislation should be passed first and that the Council be included in the process.
