In light of recent market developments, the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) released revised purchasing and selling rates for the main foreign currencies on Friday.
In addition to the Treasury Management Division’s separate announcement of TT (Telegraphic Transfer) rates for foreign commerce and settlements, the US dollar was quoted at Rs283.06 for selling and Rs280.03 for buying on the open market.

The US dollar was trading at Rs283.06 (selling) and Rs280.03 (buying), per the NBP’s daily bulletin.
The following other important currencies were noted:
British Pound (GBP): Rs376.05 for purchasing, Rs380.52 for selling
Euro (EUR): Rs327.97 (purchasing), Rs331.88 (selling)
JPY (Japanese yen): Rs1.9170 for sale, Rs1.8944 for purchase
UAE Dirham (AED): Rs74.59 for purchase, Rs75.48 for sale
Saudi Riyal (SAR): Rs76.16 for purchasing, Rs77.07 for selling
