KARACHI: According to News on Friday, Pakistan Railway has made the decision to operate three special trains from Karachi in order to accommodate the high volume of travelers arriving for Eidul Adha 2024.
A Pakistan Railways representative stated that the first-ever Eid train, including 1,118 passengers, departed Karachi for Peshawar today. The railway department received Rs 3.3 million in revenue from the train.
On June 15, two additional trains will depart from Karachi. Trains to Lahore will leave Karachi at 1 pm and 9 pm, respectively. These trains already have reservations made.
Following the June 7 sighting of the Zil Hajj moon, Pakistan will celebrate Eidul Adha on June 17.
