LONDON: According to a medical tribunal, a doctor of Pakistani descent who left a patient in the middle of a surgery to engage in sexual relations with a nurse is “very low risk” of committing the same grave misbehavior again.
At Tameside Hospital, a startled coworker who happened to walk in on the married father of three, Suhail Anjum, 44, and the unidentified nurse saw them in a “compromising position.”
The male patient was under general anesthesia, and the Lahore consultant anesthetist had asked a nursing colleague to keep an eye on him so he could use the restroom.
Instead, on September 16, 2023, the doctor went to another operating room at the hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, which was partially utilized as a storage room, where he had sex with Nurse C.
