On Saturday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) declared that it will begin operating nonstop flights to Manchester, UK, on October 25.
A post on the national flag carrier’s X account made the announcement.
The article said that the flight operations would bring “loved ones closer once again” and that Manchester and Islamabad would be reconnected.
The news comes a day after the Pakistan High Commission in London declared that the Foreign Aircraft Operating Permit (FOP), the last permission needed for commercial operations, had been obtained by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
