Pakistan will not “wait any longer” while foes posing as partners continue to aid terrorists, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Thursday, vowing to take firm measures against the growing terrorist threat.
He declared that the nation’s victims’ sacrifices will not be in vain.
The premier stated during a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad that the nation is once again dealing with a rise in terrorist attacks, which calls for swift and decisive action.
He stated he went to the funerals of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid, Major Tayyab, and nine soldiers who were killed in Orakzai, as well as Major Sibtain Haider, who accepted martyrdom while battling extremists, in reference to recent attacks.
