Due to a handgun transaction he made in 2018, Hunter Biden is being charged in Delaware with three felonies related to his alleged crack cocaine addiction.
He has been charged with lying to a federally registered gun dealer, lying on the application used to screen applicants for firearms, claiming he didn’t take drugs, and possessing the pistol illegally for 11 days.
Previously, a plea agreement that would have prevented a trial so near to the 2024 election fell through.
After entering a not guilty plea, Biden has maintained that the US Justice Department is unfairly targeting him.
Although Joe Biden did not discuss the criminal trial in his capacity as president, he stated that as a parent, he has “boundless love for my son, confidence in him, and respect for his strength.”.
