Before presenting the proposed peace plan to the world, US President Donald Trump made changes at Israel’s request, according to Qatar.
While some of the initial recommendations were kept, others were purposefully eliminated, according to the Qatari Foreign Ministry.
Qatar claims that Trump altered the peace plan.
Majid Al-Ansari, the spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, told Arab media that the final draft of President Trump’s peace plan differed greatly from the initial proposal made by Arab Islamic nations.
“President Trump gave the world the updated peace plan,” he stated. While some of the Arab Muslim countries’ recommendations were eliminated, others were added. Israel requested that the changes be made.
