Jennifer Garner has prohibited her children, whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck, from listening to their stepmother Jennifer Lopez’s latest album.
The Alias star finds the album “cringe” and believes her children don’t deserve to hear intimate moments between JLo and their father.
A source close to the situation told Life & Style that Garner “thinks the whole thing is just cringe,” and that the record is “embarrassing.”.
Garner and Affleck have three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, while Lopez has twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony.
After reconciling with Lopez two decades after they called off their engagement, Affleck married her in 2022.
The insider discussed Lopez’s 13 raunchy-lyric tracks, saying, “Basically, this album is telling the world that the original Bennifer was meant to be.”
They added: “On one track, Ben even says, ‘I love you, I always have,’ which Jen saw as a smack in the face. It’s difficult to hear.
This comes after the tabloid stated that Garner and Lopez got along extremely well while managing their mixed households.
“Jen and J. Lo have more in common than they would probably like to admit. “They are both career-driven artists and protective mothers who prioritize their children,” they stated last year.
“They don’t want the children to suffer as a result of their public spat. Seraphina and Emme are inextricably linked, and neither woman would come between their bond.”
