COPENHAGEN: Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, has alerted European leaders to Russia’s plans to intensify the conflict.
He cited recent drone flights over Denmark and other nations as evidence that Moscow is trying to intensify the fight outside of Ukraine’s borders while speaking at a summit of European leaders from just under 50 nations in Copenhagen on Thursday.
He said Ukraine is prepared to use its war expertise to help partners defend themselves and urged Europe to take the threat seriously.
The warning was given during a summit of European leaders from less than 50 nations, who gathered in a heavily guarded conference center in Copenhagen following the mystery drone flights that rocked Denmark last month.
