The Show Returns
Savannah Guthrie is returning to Today’s on Friday, April 6th. After her mother Nancy Guthrie went missing, she stepped down from hosting.
Guthrie says that returning to the country feels important, even in this time of difficulty. Her work, she said, is a part of who she is and what her life means. She admitted that she has changed since she first started.

Guthrie opened up about her feelings in a recent conversation. Guthrie said that she doesn’t know how it will be to return to the show but wants to give it a try.
She said that one day she hopes to be able to laugh again. She said that when this happens, her happiness would feel real. This is her way to cope with loss and pain.
Find Nancy Guthrie
Nancy Guthrie, a resident of Tucson in Arizona was last seen on 1st February at her residence. The night before she had come home, her family dropped off at around 9:30 pm.
When she failed to attend her Sunday church service, the concern grew. Authorities have investigated her disappearance since then.
Investigators suspect that she was taken without her consent. Investigators have pursued several avenues, such as physical evidence and ransom notes reported. However, there has not been any major breakthrough.
Families Concerned
Guthrie expressed deep concern about her mother’s health before the disappearance. Guthrie said that her mother had significant pain, and was unable to walk. She does not think her mother would have been able to leave on her own.
In an emotional letter, she apologized to her mom for her feelings of guilt and sorrow.
