Twenty-five individuals with mild to moderate sleep apnea used the device at home twice a day for three months, breathing in and out 30 times each session, as part of a short research done by the Sleep Research Center at the University of Turku.
The subjects reported stronger respiratory muscles at the conclusion of the trial.

The results were revealed in Helsinki, Finland on June 5, 2024, during the Nordic Lung Congress.
