The legal, regulatory, and operational aviation framework of Pakistan has been reviewed by a team from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The delegation also examined the controlling functions of Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority. The assessment team met with the Director General of Civil Aviation for a closing session on the last day of the visit. Both parties underlined their commitment to working together on regulatory supervision and aviation safety during the meeting.
At the Civil Aviation Authority headquarters, the FAA team leader met with the CEO of Pakistan International Airlines as well.
