Washington: According to US President Donald Trump, he plans to visit the Middle East on Sunday to witness the release of hostages by Hamas and commemorate the first step of the peace agreement in Gaza.
Trump stated Thursday at the White House that the deal between Israel and the Palestinian organization had “ended the war in Gaza.”
Under his 20-point peace plan, which served as the foundation for indirect talks between Israel and Hamas in Egypt, the US leader went on to say that “nobody’s going to be forced to leave” the Palestinian territories.
He expressed his desire to visit Egypt and even Israel, where he might speak to the parliament.
