LeBron Signs with Philadelphia 76ers
LeBron James has declared that he would sign what he claims will be his last NBA deal with the Philadelphia 76ers for the upcoming season.
Last month, the 41-year-old, who had the most points in league history, departed the Los Angeles Lakers after eight years.
James stated on X, “I think I can help the Philadelphia 76ers become a championship team, and I am so excited to energize a new fanbase and start this incredible journey one last time.”
James’ former team, Miami, unintentionally shared a link to a “introductory press conference” for James earlier this week.
The footage was accidentally uploaded by employees who were getting ready for the prospect of James returning to the franchise he won two NBA titles with in 2012 and 2013, a Heat representative told Reuters.
James had two stints with Cleveland, who are headquartered close to his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and who drafted him in 2003.
Northeast Ohio will always [be] home, and I will always adore Miami,” James continued.
