Popular messaging app WhatsApp is releasing a new feature to further improve its user experience, continuing to live up to its record of trying new things and providing new features or upgrading the ones it already has.
With the most recent WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.1.10.72 upgrade, which is accessible to select beta testers through the TestFlight app, the Meta-owned platform has finally released a sticker creation tool.
According to WABetaInfo, the feature offers customization since it lets users make stickers directly on the platform without requiring any additional apps.
Now, users can choose to customize a sticker by choosing one from the chat.
When an image is selected from the library, the platform opens the drawing editor and immediately highlights the picture’s subject.
Notably, users can also modify pre-existing stickers by selecting the “Edit sticker” function, which increases their customization options and versatility while also enhancing their communication skills.
Users can create stickers out of shared photographs by selecting the share action.
Users can now quickly and simply create and edit stickers without the need for additional software thanks to the addition of the ability to produce stickers right within WhatsApp and the ability to remove background image when editing stickers.
The new sticker creation tool is available to some beta testers who installed the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS from the TestFlight app. More users will gain access to it in the coming weeks.
