KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts light to moderate rains through Tuesday, providing residents some respite from the intense heat. Rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected to arrive in the port city on Monday.
Over the next 24 hours, Karachi is predicted to see hot, muggy weather with partly cloudy skies, according to the Met Department. The humidity is currently 72%, and the highest temperature might be as high as 37 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds in the city were recorded at 18 kilometres per hour.
Rainfall is predicted to be light to moderate, while it may fall in isolated areas of the city, according to the Met Department.
