After two German mountaineers were trapped in a landslide while trying to reach the peak of Laila Peak (6,096 meters) in the Hushy valley in Ghanche district, a rescue effort is currently underway in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

GB government spokeswoman Faizullah Faraq stated in a statement that Marina Eva, one of the climbers, was saved on Tuesday.
According to him, Laura Dahlmeier, the second German mountaineer, is still unaccounted for and is thought to be hurt. In a statement, he stated, “Ground and aerial teams are working around the clock to locate her.”
