Rana Sanaullah, the senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stated on Friday that the country is facing grave hardships.
The former interior minister expressed his feelings, saying, “Maulana Fazlur Rehman is not furious with me. We want Maulana Fazlur Rehman to continue as our leader. He [Fazlur Rehman] is our leader, as we experienced difficulties during the period of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
“The meeting was held with Fazlur Rehman in a good way,” he said.
– Fazl announces against competing in the NA speaker, deputy, and prime minister elections.
Rehman previously stated that his party will not participate in the election for the National Assembly speaker, deputy speaker, or prime minister.
Speaking to the media following the Lower House session to deliver the oath to newly elected members, the Maulana categorically stated that the JUI-F would not participate in this parliament and sit on the opposition benches.
When asked how it felt coming to the assembly once again, the JUI-F chief said it was not an assembly, but something else. To another question if his party would resort to a protest or a freedom march against the recent elections, he urged to “wait and watch”.
