Killing Eve star Jodie Comer may look quite indestructible while she’s acting, but she is unexpectedly open about her current job, saying: “I started this process quite literally terrified.”
Comer plays a mother attempting to care for her child while navigating flooding and civil turmoil in the climate change survival drama The End We Start From.
Though it may seem like an unlikely pairing, Comer clearly enjoys a challenge as seen by the numerous accolades she has previously received for her wildly diverse acting performances, including two Baftas.
The film opens in London, where Comer’s character and her partner must leave their flooded home due to an environmental disaster. They make their way to his parents’ rural home in search of safety.
