Premier Shehbaz Sharif arrived in London for a brief visit before to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York.
The Pakistani High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, and representatives of the UK government greeted the premier upon his arrival at the Luton airport. Afzaal Bhatti, Pakistan’s recently nominated ambassador to Morocco, and his son Suleman Shehbaz Sharif joined him.
The prime minister will depart London on September 23 for the United States. “Departing for New York to represent Pakistan at the 79th UN General Assembly,” stated PM Shehbaz on X, the erstwhile Twitter platform. Anticipating a hectic week jam-packed with events.
In conversation, he said, “we will discuss global issues, promoting peace, development, and climate action.”
