The Lahore High Court has received a variety of petitions calling for the Supreme Court’s ruling on reserved seat distribution to be carried out.
Munir Ahmed has submitted an application for the Supreme Court’s decision to be enforced.
The petitioner contends that the decision has not yet been put into effect despite a thorough verdict from the Supreme Court’s eight-member panel. The petitioner claims that while the Supreme Court has issued a clear directive, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has not received the reserved seats.
The petition further stated that letters demanding adherence to the Supreme Court’s ruling had been submitted to the speakers of each of the four provincial assembly.
