Users continue to experience service disruptions due to nationwide internet slowdowns, which occur ahead of the government’s target for complete restoration by the end of October.
Major General (retd) Hafeezur Rahman, the chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), denied that the government was slowing down services when he stated last week that the ongoing problem of internet disruption in the nation would be rectified by the end of October.
A month ago, the PTA asserted that the poor internet speed nationwide would increase in October, blaming the disruption on an underwater cable malfunction and promising that the problem would be resolved by the start of October.
However, users still have sluggish internet speed, which worries Pakistanis all the time.
