Princess Anne has visited Northern Ireland for a royal engagement where she recognized the life, and service of 106-year-old WWII veteran Norman Irwin.
The Royal Family just posted images from the event to their social media accounts.
In order to honor and commemorate their public work, Mr. Irwin and other “extraordinary people” were invited to a Garden Party held at Hillsborough Castle.
Additional details on the life and work of Mr. Irwin, one of the honorees, were also provided in the post’s caption.
Her Royal Highness also gave 106-year-old veteran Norman Irwin a B.E.M. for his volunteer efforts in his hometown of Coleraine, the Firm said.
