KARACHI: Police said Geo News on Thursday that a rickshaw driver has admitted to raping and killing a three-year-old child in Federal B Area Block 11 of the port city.
According to the police, the suspect, Naseer, was the victim’s neighbor and rickshaw driver. He placed the victim’s body in a sack before discarding it outside. Residents of the neighborhood turned him over to the police.
The young child’s lifeless body was discovered on a Gulberg street close to her home. On Wednesday morning, October 9, the woman had a dupatta wound around her neck like a noose, suggesting that she might have been strangled, according to the police.
