More than 2,000 trucks that have been stuck in Afghanistan for the past month after returning Afghan people to their homeland have been demanded to be returned immediately by the truck owners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Latif Gul, president of the KP Mini Mazda Truck Owners Association, voiced his alarm about the situation on Friday, stating that hundreds of Pakistani drivers and conductors are now stranded in challenging circumstances over the border as a result of the trucks’ delayed return.
Afghan authorities have not allowed their vehicles to be returned, he claimed.
He went on to say, “Our drivers have been away from home for a month, and truck owners have already spent all of their money on daily expenses.”
