With 2,604 documented cases of domestic violence during the previous eight months, Nishtar Colony is at the top of the list, according to official data.
With 2,452 incidents reported, the Factory Area comes in second, while Kahna comes in third with 2,070 complaints.
Types of reported crimes
These occurrences include inappropriate behavior, sexual and physical abuse, exploitation of women in their own homes, and blackmail via images and films.
According to police, these crimes demonstrate the pressing need for preventive measures and are a reflection of societal problems that are deeply ingrained.
