Following the contentious handshake incident during the Asia Cup, former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja sharply criticized ICC match referee Andy Pycroft, casting doubt on his impartiality.
Raja claimed that Pycroft had been a “fixture” in India’s games during a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday. It’s fascinating to note that Andy Pycroft is the Indians’ favorite. “He’s always a permanent fixture over there whenever I host tosses,” he remarked.
Raja brought up the statistics, emphasizing that Pycroft had officiated over 90 Indian matches.
For me, this is obvious since, despite my belief that he has officiated multiple games, the statistics seem to indicate that he was biased. This shouldn’t be the case.
