Andy Pycroft, the controversial match referee for the ICC, has expressed regret to the Pakistan cricket team’s manager and captain.
Pycroft had stopped both team captains from shaking hands during the India-Pakistan game.
Pycroft’s action elicited a harsh response from the Pakistan Cricket Board. Pycroft apologized and described the September 14 event as the consequence of a misunderstanding.
An investigation into the code of conduct infraction that took place during the match on September 14 has been agreed to by the ICC.
