In an attempt to make people laugh while drawing attention to problems affecting the town, he has posted fake posters throughout central Chichester under the name Chichester Anti-Recreation Partnership (Carp).
Carp, a local resident and worker who wishes to remain anonymous, told the news that he decided to parody the city’s “overregulation and lack of fun” after observing that there were “everywhere” signs indicating that some things were forbidden or cautionary.
A “vibrant place to live, work, and visit” is how the Chichester District Council described the city. According to a recent research, it is the greatest area to live in West Sussex, they said.

Carp claims that when they are seen, the authorities take down his signs. Unauthorized leaf shedding is forbidden, says a humorous notice. Trees that don’t conform risk being taken down. Carp
According to Carp, he wishes to increase public awareness of broader problems impacting the neighborhood.
“I absolutely adore Chichester,” Carp declared.
However, there are still significant deficiencies, especially in terms of entertainment and activities for younger people.
“Over time, it’s become increasingly focused on catering to older residents,” he said.
