Diljit Dosanjh, an Indian musician and actor, has addressed the controversy surrounding Sardaar Ji 3, his film that was banned in India after the Pahalgam terrorist assault.
Speaking to supporters at his Malaysian event, Dosanjh claimed that despite his obvious support for his nation, he was wrongfully called “anti-national.”
Sardaar Ji 3 was filmed prior to the Pahalgam incident, Dosanjh explained during the event. He emphasized how unfair it was to prohibit his movie while India and Pakistan were still playing cricket internationally following the incident.
“The match was played after the attack, although the movie was shot before it happened. We have always prayed for terrorists to face harsh punishment both then and now. “We stand with our nation,” he declared.
