Details of Princess Anne’s covert trip to Ukraine, where she showed support for the local families and children, have been released by Buckingham Palace.
The information was posted on the palace’s official website.
At the request of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the Princess Royal traveled to Ukraine on Tuesday, September 30, to show support for the children and families residing there, according to the royal family.
The palace added that during her visit to Kyiv, the Princess Royal spoke with President Zelenskyy on the UK’s backing of Ukraine and the nation’s continued struggle.
The Cathedral of St. Sofia was also visited by the Princess Royal.
