The first round of the e-bike lottery has been finished by the Ministry of Industries and Production.
41,000 of the more than 269,000 e-bike rickshaw applications that were submitted nationwide were chosen to participate in the lottery.
According to officials, 30% of new cars sold in Pakistan would be electric by 2030. People with modest incomes can receive direct subsidies for electric automobiles. While rickshaw subsidies would vary from Rs200,000 to Rs400,000, buyers of motorbikes must obtain bank loans of Rs50,000 and pay Rs80,000 themselves.
