Bollywood celebrities in India are pleading with judges to preserve their voices and personas in the age of artificial intelligence. YouTube, Google’s video arm, is the main target of one well-known couple.
A judge has been urged by Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is well-known for her famous red carpet appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, to ban the production of AI videos that violate their intellectual property rights. However, in a broader request, they also want Google to be ordered to implement safeguards to make sure that YouTube films submitted in any way don’t train other AI platforms, according to legal documents examined by Reuters.
