The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have decided to resolve any issues amicably.
A good meeting between the PML-N and PPP delegations was held at the National Assembly chamber in Islamabad. The parties committed to refraining from using harsh language against one another and promised to settle disagreements respectfully.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, PML-N leaders Rana Sanaullah, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Rana Mubashir were present at the meeting. Ijaz Jakhrani and Syed Naveed Qamar were part of the PPP delegation.
According to sources on Wednesday, the PPP had earlier called for Maryam Nawaz of the PML-N to take back her recent remarks and apologize publicly.
