As Kuala Lumpur revealed plans to import $200 million worth of halal meat from Pakistan, Pakistan and Malaysia reiterated their commitment to strengthening cooperation in commerce, education, technology, and governance on Monday.
The declaration came during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s three-day official visit to Malaysia, where he had in-depth talks about enhancing bilateral cooperation with his Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim.
During a joint press conference with his Malaysian counterpart, Prime Minister Shehbaz praised Prime Minister Ibrahim as a leader of exceptional talents and acknowledged his important contribution to Malaysia’s progress. Shehbaz went on to say, “Anwar Ibrahim’s visit to Pakistan was unforgettable, and we had very positive discussions.”
