The 13th round of political consultations between Pakistan and Iran concluded in Islamabad, highlighting both nations’ commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.
Led by Foreign Secretary Aamirah Balouch on the Pakistani side and Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi for Iran, the delegations reviewed progress from previous consultations and discussed ways to expand collaboration in trade, energy, transport, education, and cultural exchanges.
Both countries underscored the significance of institutional platforms like the Joint Economic Commission and Joint Trade Committee to drive practical cooperation. They also agreed to continue constructive dialogue in multilateral forums and stay engaged on regional and global developments.
The next round of consultations is scheduled to take place in Tehran, with dates to be confirmed through diplomatic channels.
