Kristin Cavallari returned to her hometown of Laguna Beach to celebrate a major milestone — her 20-year high school reunion. The 38-year-old reality star joined several of her former classmates, including familiar faces from the iconic MTV series Laguna Beach.
Jason Wahler shared a nostalgic photobooth strip on Instagram on November 30, showing Cavallari posing with Lauren Olsen and others. The photos, stamped “LBHS Class of 2005,” sparked excitement among longtime fans of the show.
The reunion comes at the perfect moment, as the original Laguna Beach cast prepares for an on-screen comeback. A two-hour special, Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion, is set to premiere on The Roku Channel in 2026.
Series creator Liz Gateley shared her excitement about revisiting the show that changed the lives of both its cast and its viewers. She recalled pitching the original idea to MTV and said she never imagined finding such a perfect group of real friends. Bringing them back together, she added, feels like a dream.
Cavallari, Lauren Conrad, and Stephen Colletti are all on board as executive producers for the upcoming special.
Roku Media’s Brian Tannenbaum praised the original series as a pop-culture landmark, noting that Laguna Beach helped shape modern reality television.
For now, fans get a double treat — heartwarming reunion photos and the promise of a full cast update in the upcoming revival.
