Two opposing parties were reportedly fighting and utilizing heavy weapons against one another, according to police reports. Unfortunately, the police chief was caught in the crossfire of the opposing factions when Bachobahu Sherab police, commanded by the SHO, arrived to put an end to the fighting.
Before being taken to the hospital, he died from his terrible injuries. Following the event, authorities established a manhunt to apprehend the escaping criminals and roped off the area, sealing off all entry and departure points.
