SHAHEED BENAZIRABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari filed her nomination papers for a by-election to the National Assembly seat, NA-207, which her father Asif Ali Zardari left vacant after being elected president.
The returning officer confirmed that the by-election in the Shaheed Benazirabad-I (previously Nawabshah) constituency would take place on April 21.
On her X account, Aseefa posted photos of herself filing nomination papers with the returning officer in Nawabsha.
She was joined by her aunt, Azra Fazal Pechuho. When she left the RO’s office, party workers showered her with rose petals.
