Iran Reports Tanker Attacks in Strait

Four of the tankers were carrying oil when they were assaulted and set fire, according to the Iranian source, which quoted a statement from the Revolutionary Guard’s navy. Three more were injured and immobilized when they hit naval mines.

The report omitted information about possible fatalities and the flags of the ships.

The study also warned that the Revolutionary American outposts in the region would be threatened if the United States tried to allow oil ships to travel via other parts of the strait.

The Revolutionary Guard had frequently struck American bases in Gulf countries during the conflict.

Yemen Warns Houthis Against Public Rallies

The Iranian-backed Houthi rebels’ rallies and mobilization efforts would be regarded as legitimate military objectives, Yemen’s Defense Ministry stated on Thursday, warning locals in Houthi-held regions not to participate.

The declaration, which was posted on social media, is regarded as a significant escalation against both the Houthis and the population residing in regions they control. On Fridays, the Muslim day of prayer, pro-Houthi demonstrations are frequently held.

One of the primary methods used by the Iranian-backed organization to mobilize sympathizers and combatants are rallies and what the Houthis refer to as “cultural courses.”

Saudi Airport Strike Death Toll Rises to Two

The strike on the Saudi airport has claimed two lives.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Saudi Arabia said on Thursday that two persons had died in an attack on King Fahd International Airport the previous evening.

According to a statement, the deceased were an Indian national who lived in the country and a Saudi citizen. The incident happened late on Wednesday and injured eight more persons.

In a message released on Telegram on Thursday, the Houthi rebels took credit for the airport assault.

Israeli Strike Kills Syrian Man with Disability

The attack on the airport also injured two Indian nationals. An attack on Aramco’s Shaybah oil field injured another Indian national.

An Israeli military attack kills a Syrian guy with a disability.

According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, an Israeli attack on the town of Jamla in the southern Syrian province of Daraa on Thursday resulted in the death of a citizen with special needs.

Further information concerning the man’s murder was not included in the report. In a statement, the Israeli military claimed that soldiers had “identified a suspect approaching them and carried out a suspect apprehension procedure.”

UN Rapporteur Urges Economic Pressure on Israel

Israel took control of a buffer zone in southern Syria under U.N. surveillance after former Syrian President Bashar Assad was overthrown in a swift Syrian rebel onslaught in December 2024, and it has been controlled ever since.

Although Israeli soldiers often invade places beyond the Israeli-occupied zone, Jamla is not within it.

A UN representative demands that Israel face economic pressure.

Indonesians were asked by the U.N. special envoy for the West Bank and Gaza to use their economic influence to put pressure on Israel to halt what she described as illegal activities in the Palestinian areas.
