Applications for the 2026 private Hajj program are now being accepted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and 37,903 new pilgrims are welcome to apply.
At the same time, private Hajj operators will prioritize 22,097 pilgrims who were unable to attend last year.
Deferred pilgrims’ priority
The ministry states that private Hajj operators must first make accommodations for registered pilgrims who were unable to complete the Hajj the previous year.
With 22,097 of these pilgrims already enrolled, their protracted wait will be over this year.
Before new applications are taken into consideration, operators will additionally submit an affidavit attesting to the completion of registrations from the previous year.
